In practice the split works like this:
- Yours. Your content, your product and customer data, your design and templates, and your day-to-day editing and operational workflows.
- Ours. The platform software itself, plus hosting, security patching, performance, and core upgrades. Core dna is managed infrastructure, so none of that maintenance falls to your team.
Because Core dna is delivered as a subscription rather than a licensed install, you are not buying a copy of the software — you are subscribing to a platform we keep current. Feature releases and upgrades arrive as part of that subscription, instead of as a rebuild every few years.
