One platform, three relationships. Multi-site is the umbrella term: many websites or storefronts running on one shared core. Multi-store usually means one company running several branded storefronts from a single admin, often sharing a catalog and customer records. Multi-tenant means independent operators: franchisees, dealers, or separate businesses, each with isolated data and their own logins on shared infrastructure. Core dna supports all three on one instance: you decide what's shared at the core and what each property controls locally.

A fully headless CMS provides an API for content delivery and no built-in frontend. Developers build the entire presentation layer. A hybrid headless CMS does the same API-first delivery but adds a structured visual editing layer that allows non-developer teams to manage and publish content without writing code.

The difference becomes operationally significant at scale. With a fully headless CMS, every change that affects page layout or structure requires developer time. With a hybrid headless CMS, marketing teams control the content layer independently while developers retain ownership of architecture, integrations, and the API delivery model.

When big acts like Paul McCartney, Guns n Roses, or Ed Sheeran announce pre-sale weekend, their site can see several million unique visitors - each making many, many calls to the server as they seek tickets - and we are happy to show you performance logs that show no significant performance degradation.

The cloud-based infrastructure means that the capacity of the Core dna service can be ramped up and down as required, with ease. The main benefit of this lies in the costs. You are not required to pay a standard hosting charge, which is especially important if your website is busy seasonally.

There are many other technical benefits such as:

• Redundancy
• High availability
• No single point of failure (SPOF): meaning that if a part of the system experiences trouble, it does not affect the system as a whole from working.
