Our Board

Our board monitors the performance of the business, ensures we are meeting our compliance requirements, and maintains open communication with management on the way our team represents the company and its values. Our board members have experience in a range of business sectors and specialised skills in finance, web development, compliance, strategy, technology and business development.


SAM SALTIS The founding director. Sam is charged with the strategic management of the firm and also heads our product development group. Prior to founding bwired, Sam was a member of the executive team of the ANZ bank. Sam holds an undergraduate degree in computer science and applied mathematics, as well as an MBA from the Melbourne Business School.	MICHAEL JOHNSTONE The non executive chairman of the bwired Group. Michael was formerly general manager of Global Real Estate at the National Australia Bank. He studied land surveying at the RMIT, town and country planning (economic geography) at the University of Melbourne, and completed the advanced management program at the Harvard Graduate School of Business.	MIKE WATSON Part of the bwired board. As a CEO and business leader, Michael has a strong reputation for achieving reform and significant business improvement. He has also led the formation of major international strategic alliances; led strategic equity investment in a corporate prior to an IPO; advised large European, Australian and international organisations on the strategic outsourcing of their non-core business functions.	LAWRENCE LOVELL Lawrence is bwired’s CFO. Lawrence is a Chartered Accountant and has nearly 20 years experience of assisting businesses in a variety of industries to improve their profitability and financial reporting.


DAVE RICHARDSON David is part of the bwired board. David has held senior executive roles in Information and Technology for a number of high profile corporations in Australia. David’s most recent role was that of CIO and Vice President of Information & Technology at BHP Billiton.
